Bingo

Volunteer Duties and Time Commitments

First Shift 4:30-6:30 PM

Second Shift 6:15-8:30 PM

Third Shift 8:15-Closing (~11:30 PM)

*We can also use volunteers for one hour time slots!

Here are some of the fun things you can volunteer to help with!

Bank: Are you good with money? We need 1-2 volunteers per shift in the bank area to count money and issue bingo payouts.

Flash Card Sellers: This takes place during the first shift. You will be stationed at the front of the room selling extra bingo games called, "Flash." Each game sells for $1-$5 depending upon the game. You need to be able to work quickly and count change.

Pull Tab Sellers: This takes place during the first and second shifts. You will be issued a tray and walk the floor selling Pull Tabs. These are like paper slot machines. Winners are instant. You need to be able to walk during your shift, count change, and work quickly and quietly.

Bingo Verifier: This job is for someone who has volunteered a few times before. You need to be able to walk/run to winners on the floor, speak into a microphone, and count back cash.

Cashier: This is a job for someone who has volunteered before and requires simple training on the register. This is busiest during the first and second shifts. You must be able to count cash, run a credit card machine, multi-task, have attention to detail, and smile through it all!

Baker: Part of our agreement with the Bingo Ranch is to provide refreshments during play. We need approximately 12-14 dozen goodies for every Bingo Night. Each volunteer is asked to bring 2-4 dozen goodies and can drop them off at the Bingo Ranch or make arrangements to have a volunteer working that night brings them.
